Running For Oliver!

Oliver Morgan is a 12 year old boy whose half term holiday was turned upside down. Feeling poorly, he was taken to the doctor and before he knew what was happening he was in hospital.

Life would never be the same again, for Oliver or for his family: he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.

Seeing the devastating effect of this diagnosis, I naturally felt the need to help in some way, but what could I do?

Then I realised: I can do the one thing I enjoy doing: RUNNING!

So, I plan to run Chester Marathon on the 9th October AND the Birmingham Half Marathon on 23rd of October in aid of the diabetes society.

What can you do?

Please sponsor me to help other children & adults coping, like Oliver, on a daily basis with all kinds of diabetes.

Thank you.

Ann

YOU CAN STILL DONATE !!! I did it ! What a day, a tough course, it was all going so well till about 10.4 miles & then the hills, I just slowed right up, was so disappointed BUT I saw Corina, Gareth, Oliver & Holly several times round the course which was SUCH boost. Thankfully I didn't see them as I crossed the line, I got a bit teary as I thought about Corina leaving school & about how brave Oliver has been since his diagnosis, I'd composed myself by the time I met up with them !
